The answer is simpler than you think. The story is definitely not mundane.
Hi, my name is Igor. I was born Leopoldo Igor Raffaele a bunch of decades ago, in Napoli. My family travelled a lot, and my first childhood memories are of Bakolori, Nigeria. Then Switzerland, Italy, and a bunch of other countries, mostly in the European Union. I recently moved to the United States.
My happy place has always been to take things apart, understand them, and to then tell stories about the stuff I'd destroyed. This started in my childhood, and it never changed. The things got more complicated and expensive, the telling had to be elevated, and the number of moving parts increased, but my passion and curiosity remained an unwavering compass in my career.
I worked for a video game publication, then for its advertising parent company. I ended up leading vertically integrated departments that eventually became InterWave Studios and its award-winning launch title Nuclear Dawn. After the brilliant, glorious insanity of game development, I didn't learn my lesson, and moved on to even more complex projects.
The arc of my early career culminated at Dephion Group, where I was COO of a team of 120 people working on a groundbreaking health solution that, naturally, could do anything, anywhere, for anyone. We succeeded, but you can't sample HABTIC because corporate things and the company went bankrupt. This was a low point in my life. It wasn't my first setback, but it struck from blue skies. After the lawyers had left and the dust had settled, I suffered severe health consequences, and found myself unable to pursue my passions for months.
When I rejoined the world of the living, my mindset had changed drastically. I started appreciating life as I hadn't for decades. I took some real time off for the first time since I was a toddler. I went back to breaking stuff and talking about it. And I loved it.
Mundane is born from that love. From that passion. From that unending desire to explore, understand, and share. With nearly three decades of experience on the real, actual, bleeding cutting edge of technology, I can bring the value of real world experience, success, and failure to fields that are tragically, comically misrepresented in public discourse.
From Byzantine software architectures to simple LLM AI automations, Mundane can lead the way to realising your most ambitious visions. Without pitfalls, because I've been there, over and over again. And it's time to build something amazing with all that experience.
So, how can I help?
